Baked Nectarines…
This is the last week that stone fruit will be available & I thought I would share this with you… its really easy, & maybe you already do this… slice cheeks of your nectarines, place in a baking dish, skin side down, sprinkle flesh with a little bit of sugar or omit if you prefer, pop in preheated 180 degree oven & bake until slightly browned, or the edges get just that little bit crispy… and done!
I have enjoyed these as a snack, or perfect on your breakfast, pop in a cake or muffins, serve hot with some real custard.
Today I did just this with pears but left the sugar out as they are sweet enough as they are…
